Components That Are Included:
13” Acrylic Dome Assembly
Our acrylic Dome Assembly allows the Sun Tube to draw in sunlight, directing it into the light tube so that it can be reflected and diffused into your home or office. Constructed from high-impact acrylic with integrated UV stabilizers, the dome assembly is mounted on an aluminum trim ring which helps eliminates heat, moisture, and leaks from entering your home.
13” Pitched Aluminum Flashing
Our 13” Seamless one piece, non-corrosive aluminum flashing was designed for buildings with pitched roofs and flat ceilings.
13” Flat Aluminum Flashing
Our 13” Seamless one piece, non-corrosive aluminum flat flashings are all you will need if you are installing the skylight onto a flat roof, or a pitched roof with a vaulted or tilted ceiling. We offer two different sized flat flashings. Our standard 13×6 Flat Flashing, which is usually the preferred size, and our 13×8 flat flashing, which is ideal for snowy areas.
13” Prismatic Diffuser
Our vacuum formed triple glazed prismatic ceiling kit is made of impact & fire resistant poly-carbonate. The prismatic ceiling kit is the standard in all of our tubular skylight kits. These distribute light evenly wherever the skylight is installed. We offer a prismatic domed version which spreads the light & a prismatic flat option that has more of a spotlight effect.
13” White Diffuser
Our 13” White ceiling kits are also made of impact & fire resistant poly-carbonate. These produce a softer lighting effect than our other ceiling kit options.
MaxLum Diffuser
Our vacuum formed MaxLum ceiling kits provide a more intense lighting effect when compared to our standard prismatic diffusers. These are more suitable for ceilings that are higher than 12 feet.
13” x 24” Light Tube & Adjustable Elbows
Each kit comes with two 13” x 24” crimped light tubes for easy fitting. These tubes are made out of Micro Silver anodized aluminum, which is resistant to moisture, corrosion & high temperatures. It’s also highly reflective with a 98% reflective rating.
The optional 45-degree elbows are made out of the same exact material that our light tube is made out of. These come into play if your installation isn’t a straight path. These are an optional add-on and come in a set of two.
